Varnell Clay

Varnell is a Lawyer in our Employment team. She has recently completed her LLB at the University of Waikato and has a keen interest in supporting small to medium enterprises (SMEs). With her own background spanning small business ownership, corporate and banking sectors, Varnell brings a first hand perspective and a practical understanding of business operations to her legal work.

Passionate about working with business owners, Varnell is eager to develop her legal skills and expand her expertise in employment law. She looks forward to supporting clients alongside Troy Wano and building on her experience in providing practical, business-focused employment solutions.

Outside of work, Varnell enjoys spending time with her three children, traveling, and hiking with friends. She has a deep appreciation for business and continuous learning, always seeking new insights and opportunities to develop her expertise in the ever-evolving legal landscape.
