Varnell is a Lawyer in our Employment team with a keen interest in supporting small to medium enterprises (SMEs). With her background spanning small business ownership, the corporate sector and banking, Varnell brings first-hand commercial insight and a practical understanding of business operations to her legal work.

Working alongside Partner Troy Wano, Varnell supports employers and employees across a broad range of employment matters. She combines her commercial experience with practical, business-focused advice, helping clients navigate workplace issues with confidence and achieve pragmatic outcomes.

Outside of work, Varnell enjoys spending time with her three children, travelling and hiking with friends. She has a genuine passion for business and lifelong learning, and enjoys keeping up with developments in the ever-evolving legal landscape.
