About

Annie is an Associate in our Corporate and Commercial Team and has been with GQ since 2020. She specialises in business transactions and complex succession planning, helping clients develop tailored strategies and structures to support long-term success and asset protection.

Annie is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance legal practice and create efficiencies for clients and has been nationally regarded by NZ Lawyer as a Future Legal Leader in 2025. Annie’s interest in legal technology has also seen her contribute to The Risks of Artificial Intelligence in Law, an international publication featuring perspectives from legal professionals around the world.

Beyond the office, Annie loves spending time outdoors, particularly in and around the ocean. Originally from Wales and raised in the Bay of Islands, she brings a global perspective and a down-to-earth approach to her work.

Annie is a longstanding volunteer lawyer and representative of Citizens Advice Bureau and also serves as a Board Member of Sport Taranaki. She has a strong interest in the charitable and not-for-profit sector and advises a range of GQ’s clients on commercial, complex legal and governance matters.
