Rakapa Huntley

Rakapa joined Govett Quilliam in early 2024 as a Law Clerk in Te Tira Hau Ture (Māori legal services team), before becoming a Lawyer in November 2024. Born and raised in Hamilton, Rakapa studied at Waikato University to complete her legal studies, where she developed a passion for Māori & indigenous studies and Māori Land Law.

While new to Taranaki, Rakapa has whakapapa to Te Ātiawa and Taranaki iwi and is looking forward to creating new relationships in the Taranaki region. Beyond the GQ office, Rakapa likes to bake and can be frequently found at the gym, going on walks, and spending time with whānau and friends.
