Varnell Clay

Varnell is a Law Clerk in our Property and Commercial Law team. She has recently completed her LLB at the University of Waikato and has a keen interest in intellectual property, corporate law, and supporting small to medium enterprises (SMEs). With a background in the SME, corporate, and banking sectors, Varnell brings a strong commercial perspective and a practical understanding of business operations to her legal work.

Passionate about working with business owners, Varnell is eager to develop her legal skills and expand her expertise in property and commercial law. She looks forward to supporting clients alongside the team and gaining valuable experience in providing practical, business-focused legal solutions.

Outside of work, Varnell enjoys spending time with her three children, traveling, and hiking with friends. She has a deep appreciation for business and continuous learning, always seeking new insights and opportunities to develop her expertise in the ever-evolving legal and commercial landscape.
