About

Helen is an Associate in our Corporate and Commercial Team. She joined GQ in May 2023 after moving to Taranaki from Auckland.

Helen specialises in corporate and commercial law. Prior to joining GQ, she had a number of in-house counsel roles in large corporates in Auckland, most recently at Genesis Energy. She has expertise across a range of corporate and commercial areas of law, including commercial contracting, corporate governance, commercial leasing, technology and intellectual property. She also has specialist experience in the IT sector and has a particular interest in the intersection of law and technology.

Having recently relocated from Auckland, you will usually find Helen out exploring the Taranaki region with her partner and young son. She also enjoys checking out the local coffee and food outlets, walking her dog, and reading a good book.

Helen is the honorary solicitor for Coastguard Taranaki and also serves on the Taranaki Foundation’s Internal Controls & Risk Committee.
